Day 33 / 100 Days to More ~

As people, we are healthier, but not happier. We are drenched in knowledge, but parched for wisdom. Materially we are wealthy, but we suffer a profound poverty of the soul. Spend less time impressing others and more time impressing yourself. Climb a mountain so you can see the world, not so the world can see you. Let’s stop looking to what’s around the corner and enjoy the walk down the street.

Make sure you live your life to the fullest, cross off items on your bucket list, surround yourself with live-giving friends, do what you love, don’t work at a job you dislike just for the money (it’s not about the paper, it’s about a purpose), speak up for the things you need, believe in yourself, follow your dreams, and leave a legacy worth remembering. Don’t prostitute yourself out for a job, it’s ok to say “NO” to others, to take care of yourself first, to stick up for yourself and your beliefs, to walk away from someone or something that no longer makes you better, treats your right, or makes you happy. Life is too short for pain and drama.

Action:  What are you doing for yourself, and less about pleasing the world to get attention?
